In Grade six, students begin the year with the study of the Hebrew Scriptures, in particular the creation stories and their relevance to our lives today.  They continue to study other major stories and themes found in the early Hebrew writings.
In Grade seven, students study the Christian Scriptures
and Jesus in the first semester and Liturgy and Worship in the second semester. Grade eight students study the History of the Church, and then Morality. All groups work on a unit on Social Justice during Lent, and study the Holocaust and other human rights topics in preparation for their visit to the United States Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C. Various community service projects are completed during the school year, and students participate and prepare in First Friday and Holy Day liturgies, and seasonal prayer services.
